Mindfulness Meditation
My journey with meditation began 30 years ago, turning to Zen practice to navigate deep grief after losing my best friend. Over time, my path evolved into Mindfulness Meditation, inspired by both personal healing and the growing body of scientific research on its benefits. Today, my practice is shaped by modern Western teachers and a heartfelt intention to share mindfulness as a vehicle to ride the ups and downs in life with an equanimous, caring, compassionate heart.

Yoga
I grew up in a home where both my parents practiced yoga daily and followed the yoga principles of kindness, compassion, and equanimity. I still remember my youngest sister and I running circles around my father while he held a steady headstand. Years later, after the birth of my second child, I returned to yoga to regain strength and reconnect with my true self. Since then, I’ve taught yoga continuously across different countries, in both Spanish and English. I’ve received almost all my yoga instructions in the USA, starting at Kripalu Center, Mass—however, my Advanced Teacher Training was in Dharamshala, India. I’m recognized as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) through Yoga Alliance. Today, I specialize in yoga for seniors, offering a practice that supports graceful aging, strength, and inner ease.
